Warrior

There’s a little girl sulking in the corner wondering why everything is her fault. She’s sitting in the dark wondering why she keeps getting pressured into growing up so fast. She’s wondering about all the fairytales and the stories she’d been told whether they exist. She’s wondering why the world is on her shoulders.

This little girl can’t comprehend why she is broken and bruised. She exists in all of us always holding a light which can never go out. She’s our fierce inner child who morphs into a warrior in our times of need.

Indeed, it is our fierce inner child who morphs into a warrior in our times of need. Very strongly penned. You can check my latest post, the drawing somewhat matches to what you have written, only if you wish.
